Ink on paper. A long lasting impression. Producing an image which you hold closely, carefully consider, and can even save for generations. You can feel the weight and texture. Sense the importance. At its best, you are compelled to action, to respond.

But ink on paper is not all we, at The Herald, Inc., do. Our blend of skill, craftsmanship and technology helps us produce the work we cherish and the printed piece you will be proud to show your customers.

So, let us introduce ourselves. The Herald, Inc. is one of the largest sheet-fed printers in the state of Ohio. We also have a large digital press department and were a leader in the early development of digital printing in Ohio. Located in New Washington, a small town in the heart of North Central Ohio, we are a short drive from any city in the northern half of the state. Not that it matters, because our custom courier service is on-call five days a week to provide pick-ups and deliveries all over Ohio.

The Herald Inc. is one of the oldest continuously operating printers in the Midwest. Our humble beginnings date back to February 1881 as a small weekly newspaper, which we still print 50 weeks out of the year. The company has seen the evolution of printing from movable type, through the hot-metal Linotype, to today’s high-speed technology evolution which opens new frontiers for better quality and more efficient production equipment and techniques.
